Over the years, Seaton has become a popular destination for active holiday makers no doubt because it has some of the most beautiful scenery in this part of Devon, creating a natural environment for active tourists to explore. Seaton has a vibrant community feel and has a diverse number of events taking place throughout the year. The Natural Seaton Festival is an annual summer festival which celebrates the beauty of the area and aims to promote conservation by inviting attendees to join in with a range of activities. In the autumn, Seaton Carnival hosts a procession through the town and gives Carnival Clubs the chance to present their new floats for the first time, it’s a great opportunity to have a party and enjoy the community atmosphere.

Being on the coast, Seaton is the host of several food festivals, the Seaton Eats Boutique is one such event that shows off the high quality street food that is available in the region. Art events are another favourite on Seaton’s event calendar. There are several art related events that take place during the year including the regular Art@Jubilee market which showcases the work of local artists from the west country, while the Artisan Market is where you’ll find the best arts, crafts, and a unique collection of upcycled products from around the region.

In addition to the events that are on in the area, the town also has a number of outstanding attractions. Seaton Tramway is one of the most popular with families and the team there do offer seasonal activities and events at various times of the year.
