Townhouse Exeter is a contemporary guesthouse with nine bedrooms to choose from – Superior King, Standard Kings, Doubles, Twin, Triple and Singles – your comfort wishes will be met. Our bedrooms are en-suite with showers (except for one which has a separate, but private bathroom / bathtub). Our property is a Grade II listed, 150-year-old, High Gothic Victorian with rooms housed over 3 floors and a mix of period features and contemporary furniture.
We’ve pushed our comfort levels to the max with Hypnos beds, ‘Finer than Down’ duvets & pillows, fluffy bath sheets, and complimentary Cole & Lewis toiletries. There’s even free high-speed Wi-Fi for when you absolutely have to work or stream your favourite movie, and USB charging points to keep you going!
Breakfast in your pyjamas is now our thing! We are renowned for our breakfasts and adapting to the “new normal” won’t change that. Our Breakfast Trio Hamper is delivered fresh to your door every morning for a tasty breakfast in your room. Think buttery croissants, homemade breakfast pots of Bircher muesli or Greek yoghurt with fresh fruit and nuts, and some of Chef Ken’s home-baked treats to put a smile on your face. We have vegetarian and vegan offerings too!
And NEW for 2020, you can soon enjoy wine and beer in our early evening resident’s bar – socially distanced of course.
Wanting to see Exeter?
A great city break is just moments away from our doorstep. Exeter is full of history, shopping, attractions, delightful food and drinks, water sports, walks and cycling trails. Might we suggest the temptations of the High Street, the views on Cathedral Green, canoeing or bicycling at the Quay and afternoon strolls along the estuary at nearby Topsham!
Wanting to see more of Devon or the South West?
Day trips to the countryside, seaside, and many South West beaches are only a short journey by train, bus, bicycle or car. Whether it’s incredible walks in Dartmoor or the North Devon coastline, day trips to the sea at Torbay or Dartmouth, or beaches at Exmouth and along the Jurassic Coast, we’ve got you covered. And don’t worry, the Eden Project and Cornwall are 1-1/2 hours away.
