The Granary at Borough Farm
The Granary is a first floor barn conversion which has been sympathetically restored with exposed oak beams, antique oak flooring adorned with our own sheepskin rugs, with a mix of stone and whitewashed walls hung with beautiful art work. The quaint window has a wonderful view over Dartmoor where, if you are an early riser, you can watch a dramatic sunrise. There is a glazed apex window through which you can watch the stars come out at night. The Granary has a private access through a glazed stable door. Relax on the antique french bed with sumptuous high quality white bed linen or ease away the day in the double ended, antique french bath. There is a separate sink and a screened toilet area. Breakfast can be taken in your room or in The Loft next door which is a beautiful airy space for you to relax in, with arm chairs and seated dining area, make a welcome cup of tea or coffee or take a cold drink from your fridge. A variety of breakfasts are available using our own and other local ingredients, guests can order home made meals for the evening on request. Guests also have use of their own garden with outdoor seating area, borrow a BBQ and enjoy an alfresco meal or ask us for a picnic hamper. There is a selection of guide book and maps of this wonderful area of West Devon. There is a games room with a selection of board games to borrow and table tennis. For guests staying in the Spring you are welcome to help feed the lambs, see the newly hatched chicks. Summer guests can see the ponies being prepared for the local shows and events.
