On the edge of the city of Exeter, the Devon Hotel is popular with visitors and locals alike. The heart of the luxury hotel is an elegant Georgian building, originally a manor house and retaining its historic charm. Here you will find our renowned Carriages restaurant, our welcoming Lounge Bar and four sensational function rooms. Your bedroom is a few steps away in an architect designed contemporary building, so you can unwind and sleep in a wonderfully peaceful environment, away from the public areas of the hotel.
The Devon has always set out to create new standards in hotel accommodation and now is the first hotel in the South West to offer in room Sky television including all Sky Sports channels. This is just one detail which shows how we always strive to ensure our guests can have an outstanding experience here. Our new Executive Rooms are another example of how we design every last detail to deliver what our customers want. Think monsoon walk in showers, individual air conditioning, 24 hour room service and WiFi throughout the hotel.
The Devon Hotel is the perfect venue for all kinds of special celebrations, including weddings or renewal of vows, baby showers, Christenings or naming days, special birthdays, family gatherings or anniversaries, office parties and retirement celebrations and wakes or funeral teas.
