From two nights to 365 nights or anything in between, Strathmore House Apartments can offer you the perfect accommodation choice whilst you stay in Plymouth, Britain’s Ocean City. Set within a stunning historic, Victorian building, the sensational architecture is twinned with high quality interiors providing the perfect union of traditional style and contemporary luxury.

All apartments at Strathmore House are complete and full units – so you get bedrooms, living spaces, dining areas, kitchens and bathrooms! The rooms and layouts offered differ between apartments; there are apartments with up to four bedrooms, so if you need space for multiple people to stay then we can offer the perfect solution, with duplex living and enough sleeping space for everyone.

Inside the apartments at Strathmore House we cater handsomely for all of your needs; fully fitted kitchens, linens and towels, TV’s and hairdryers – we offer the perfect home from home service.

Strathmore House Apartments are situated on the historic Hoe; the picture-perfect settings is a great way to start your Plymouth adventures.  Not only in the perfect location, but all you have to bring with you are your own creature comforts, as everything else is waiting for you!

Relax – Our aim is to ensure while you are away from home you can relax in style in our spacious living areas. These are complete with: Flat Screen TV’s & DVD Players; dining tables and chairs and comfortable sofa’s in the living areas. All of your towels and linens along with hair dryer, iron and ironing board are also provided. There really is everything you need to simply relax!

Home Cooking – When you no longer want to eat out; our fully equipped kitchens have all you need too! With Microwave Ovens; Toasters and Kettles; Washing Machines & Dryers, Dishwashers, Fridge/Freezer’s, Oven/Hob’s and a full set of cooking utensils. You can enjoy not only the beautiful kitchen layouts, but the local ladder of the South West.

What’s more; with our friendly staff on hand, you also have access to local knowledge and recommendations. What’s more, when staying at Strathmore House Apartments you also have complimentary access to Club Continental; the New Continental Hotels leisure club which comes complete with indoor pool, sauna, steam room and gyms and open 7 days a week.

FROM LONDON VIA M4/M5 TO DEVON EXPRESSWAY/A38

Use the left two lanes to take the A374/B3416 exit towards A379/City Centre/Kingsbridge/Plympton

Follow A374, at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto A374

Turn left onto Bretonside/B3240

At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Vauxhall Street/B3240

Turn left onto Athenaeum Street and then continue onto Elliot Street

Welcome to Strathmore House Apartments, number 13 Elliot Street. Parking is at the rear of the apartments.

 

FROM CORNWALL VIA THE A38

Take the A30 and A38 to St Budeaux bypass/A3064 (first exit off of the A38 once over the Tamar Bridge)

Continue following the A3064 to Outland Road, turning slightly to the right to then become Alma Rd/A386

At the bottom of Alma Rd, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Pennycomequick Hill/A386; past the train station on your left

At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Western Approach/A374. Passing the Copthorne Hotel and Sainsbury’s on your left

Turn right, past the New Continental Hotel, onto Millbay Road and continue past the Duke Of Cornwall Hotel on your left

At the roundabout turn left onto Citadel Road. Follow this road and then turn right onto Elliot Street

Welcome to Strathmore House Apartments, number 13 Elliot Street. Parking is at the rear of the apartments.
