Smytham is a family run picturesque holiday park, set in 33 acres of parkland of a 17th century manor house countryside.
The tranquil grounds are part open and part wooded within its own secluded valley an ideal place to relax and unwind. The park has a David Bellamy Gold award for conservation and there is an abundance of wildlife and ponds.
We offer a choice of self-catering lodges, tenting and touring pitches, Log Pods or owning your own holiday home.
The camping facilities are housed in an under-floor heated amenities block with free hot showers, private wash cubicles, hairdryers, shaver points, flush toilets, large easy access/ family shower room, covered washing up area and chemical disposal point. We have grass or hardstanding pitches all with hook up points that are 16 amp. Some have their own drinking water, grey water disposal, TV point and picnic bench as well as some that have their own en-suite toilet and shower building. There are also fresh water taps and grey water disposal points around the touring field. There is a cyclists kitchen area.
Smytham is suited to couples and families with an outdoor solar heated swimming pool and sun terrace, childrens’ play area, games room with air hockey, pool and table tennis, a putting green, plenty of open space to play games and woodland walks. For evenings we have a family bar. Every day essentials are available in our small shop at reception. We accept pets and have a large exercise paddock for their enjoyment.
Smytham is an ideal base for cycling, walking holidays & has easy access to the beaches of North Devon & Cornwall and to Dartmoor & Exmoor.

The nearest Rail station is Barnstaple the number stagecoach bus number 75 Great Torrington to Okehampton stops at the top or our drive way.
