About

Situated in the picturesque harbour town of Ilfracombe our award winning park, owned and managed by the Dovey family for over forty five years, offers the perfect destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.  Whether you fancy a leisurely stroll along our nature trail, a seat beside the stream or a lie down in the lush green grass taking in the abundance of bird songs, there are plenty of opportunities to unwind here on the park.  Venture a short distance out of the park and you could be cruising along the coast on a pleasure boat, learning to surf the waves or soaking up the rays on one of North Devon's stunning golden sand beaches.  There is so much to discover here in North Devon, the list is endless.

We have a range of modern and affordable luxury static caravans, lodges and houses which can sleep up to six people.  With our wide range of accommodation you are sure to find something to suit your holiday need.  Luxury hot tubs are available when booking selected accommodation for an extra cost, but pre-booking is essential.

Our peaceful, green and well maintained park also offers a wide range of pitches and camping facilities with camping pods available for those who prefer to take out the hassle of putting up a tent.  Additionally, limited free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park.

So why not check our availability online or call today on 01271 862460 to book your stay and find out why we have been awarded two Silver Awards at the Devon Tourism Awards, David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation, Trip Advisor Excellence Certificate, Britain in Bloom Gold Award and the AA five star pennant.

Road Directions

From the M5 take junction 27 in the direction of Barnstaple onto the A361.

Follow this road right through until you arrive at the Barnstaple.

Please be aware that the maximum speed limit on this road is 60mph.

It is not advisable to turn off to Ilfracombe as directed before you reach Barnstaple.

Your first turn off will be at a roundabout where the signs show A & E and Ilfrcaombe.

Follow these signs until you pass the A & E (hospital) on your right hand side and proceed over the roundabout.

In approximately 300 yards there will be a turning onto the B3230, please take this turning and follow the road into Ilfracombe, please don't turn off for any other signs marked Ilfracombe as this will take you to West Ilfracombe.

This journey will be approximately 12 miles from Barnstaple.

As you proceed you will arrive at a roundabout, please take the second exit signposted Ilfracombe.

You will arrive at a set of traffic lights, please turn right and follow the A39 in the direction of Combe Martin.

From this junction you are approximately one mile from our entrance.

As you motor through you will see our brown tourism signs at the Ilfracombe Swimming Baths, which is on the left hand side of the road.  Next door is the Ilfracombe Rugby Club ground.

You will arrive at the brow of a hill, halfway down the hill you need to take the sharp right hand turn, please ensure you remain on the crown of the hill before turning right in order to give yourself maximum visibility.

If you prefer you can continue down to the garage to turn around and approach this junction from the opposite direction.

Follow our brown tourism signs once more to the T junction and then turn right and follow the road through to our entrance.

This journey will take approximately half an hour from Barnstaple and approximately an hour and a half from junction 27 of the M5.

Please drive safety.
