About

If you are looking to enjoy 5 star luxury on your next holiday in Devon, then you simply have to consider Hawkchurch Resort & Spa.

First opened in 2015 by Darwin Escapes, this resort has quickly established a new standard when it comes to Devon holiday parks with unrivalled facilities which are every bit as luxurious as the lodges which are available for hire.

Hawkchurch Resort & Spa is the perfect place to escape the stresses back home, with the facilities on-site including an over 16s unique hydrotherapy pool which is purposefully designed to relieve muscle tension. The complete spa experience is available here thanks to the presence of the Ezina Spa which provides class leading treatments specific to your requirements. You will also find a sauna and steam room for your benefit on-site.

The pampering doesn’t have to stop there though, with many of the top of the range holiday lodges at Hawkchurch coming with their own private hot tub facilities on the outdoor decking area. Here you can relax amongst the bubbles and take in the amazing views of the Axe Valley which are only afforded here.

All of the Axminster Lodges at Hawkchurch are designed to the highest of specifications to offer guests an unrivalled self-catered experience with modern and well equipped kitchens located in spacious open plan living areas. Here you will also find a complete range of entertainment options including Smart TV’s with Freeview channels and of course complimentary Wi-Fi internet access throughout for the duration of your stay.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are equally as impressive with no stone having been left unturned by Darwin Escapes or its partners in the production of the lodges or the holiday resort itself.

Don’t feel like getting the pots and pans out? You won’t have to go far to find high quality cuisine thanks to the presence of the on-site Bistro at Hawkchurch Resort which has become a popular haunt in the region with local residents who rave about the sophisticated yet comfortable surroundings and class leading food produced by the dedicated catering team. All of those extra calories can then be burnt off by fitness fanatics in Hawkchurch very own state of the art gymnasium.

It is also a great option for pet owners. Darwin Escapes don’t believe any member of the family should be left behind, which is why they have very much made themselves the go to company for anyone looking for pet friendly holiday accommodation in the UK, with their new Yappy Days holidays offering also being available at Hawkchurch Resort & Spa. Your pet will be fully catered for on-site and you will also find a dedicated safe and secure dog walking route for the benefit of guests on the extensive grounds surrounding the main complex.

You will never want to leave this tranquil and aesthetically blessed resort once you have experienced it. However, Darwin Escapes have ensured that you may not have to by making a number of its lodges available to buy at Hawkchurch. As part of their annual site fee contribution, holiday home owners at Hawkchurch will then be able to take advantage of the complete range of 5 star facilities throughout the resorts 12 month open season. The double glazed and centrally heated lodges will ensure that you can really make the most of this at any time of the year.

If you’ve had a bad week in work, you will have the option of simply jumping in your car and driving down to your very own piece of haven away from it all whenever you so please. And what about Christmas? Could there be a more idyllic image than the whole family gathering together in your fully equipped holiday home during the festive season in a rustic yet cosy environment?

Road Directions

If you are driving along the A35, then keep an eye out for the turn off for Scotts Lane (B3165).

Once you have taken this turn off, continue down the B3165 for a about mile and a half until you see a left hand turn off for Wareham Road. This is a country lane so do prepare yourself for this if you are not comfortable in such situations.

The time spent on these country lanes will be short though, with the signpost for Hawkchurch Resort & Spa coming up quickly on the left hand side of the road.

Public Transport Directions

The closest train station to Hawkchurch Resort & Spa is located in the centre of Axminster. From here you can take advantage of the local bus service which will take you to Stammery Hill Post Box via Stonecrest.

Stammery Hill Post Box is located approximately half a mile from Hawkchurch Resort & Spa meaning that you can opt to either make the short journey on foot or by arranging a taxi to take you straight to the resort itself.

It is of course possible to arrange a taxi direct from Axminster station which will significantly reduce the time of this 5 mile journey down from over 50 minutes to less than 10 minutes on average. Please contact Hawkchurch Resort & Spa reception prior to travelling if you would like our assistance in arranging either of these options. The dedicated and knowledgeable team on-site will go out of their way to make your holiday experience as stress free as possible.
