Galmpton Touring Park

About

Galmpton Touring Park, near Brixham is a lovely, quiet family run park, set in a stunning location adjacent to Greenway, the much-loved riverside holiday home of Agatha Christie. We cater exclusively for touring caravans and motorhomes as well as offering seasonal pitches.

Facing south and west the park benefits from the sun as it rises and sets, enjoying the most spectacular views over the broadest reaches of the River Dart.

The park offers a peaceful and secluded, dog-friendly base for families and couples. Perfect for exploring the very best of South Devon, including award winning beaches, miles of the South West Coast Path, family attractions and the many picturesque nearby towns and villages. At the end of a busy day the stunning, uninterrupted views of the River Dart are perfect for relaxing. Even better whilst enjoying some locally produced food and drink. Top Tip –The Sharpham Vineyard  is a short drive away and well worth a visit. Home to some outstanding wines as well as their own cheese  - all of which can be bought in the estate shop.

Our park facilities include a site shop, an information room and a fantastic outdoor child's play area. We have excellent toilet & shower facilities including both an accessible and under 5's bathroom. We also have a large indoor washing up area and new improved laundry room - with 2 new commercial washing machines and commercial dryer, ironing board and iron.

As well as electric hook-ups, we offer some service pitches with electric hook-up, water connection and grey waste. We also have hard standing pitches.

The village of Galmpton (first recorded in the Domesday Book as ‘Galmetona’) has a cosy local pub, butchers and handy village shop selling all the essentials.  A short walk from the park will take you down to the shores of Galmpton Creek  - perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking, and sailing.  A favourite with all our guests is to take the Greenway ferry across the calm waters to the wonderful Ferry Boat Inn (their homemade pizzas are well worth the trip!)

We look forward to welcoming you to Galmpton Touring Park.
