Wistlandpound - DD

Wistlandpound is an impressive 40 acre reservoir surrounded by woodland managed by the Forestry Commission and located near Blackmoor Gate in North Devon. There are walks around the lake and through the forest and an established Nature Reserve. The woodland, established over forty years ago, is in an attractive sheltered setting and surrounds. Managed jointly with South West Lakes Trust it is a good place to go fishing, have a picnic or go for a gentle stroll.

Access: Cycleway and walkway available. Bus route not available.
