Totnes Castle
Totnes Castle is a unique treasure, in an area rich with character and history.
It is one of the best surviving examples of a Norman motte and bailey castle. The once great ditch that surrounded the keep is today filled with the cottages and gardens of the town.
Parking - nearby, small charge, car and mini buses only. Coach and buses use town facilities (Not English Heritage)
Dogs allowed on leads.
Picnic spot.
Access is very restricted for those with limited mobility.
