Devon Wildlife Trust saved this remarkable Culm grassland smallholding from agricultural improvement in 1994 when they bought the site at auction. A circular route leads you through the meadows and stunning Culm Grassland - a marshy, heathy vegetation that occurs across north west Devon. The site is rich in flowering plants, including southern-marsh orchid, sneezewort and devil's bit scabious and has a diverse fauna including chiffchaff, spotted flycatcher and the rare marsh fritillary butterfly.
