The Cremyll Ferry is served by public transport from both Plymouth and Rame Cornwall, so with in minutes of getting off the ferry from Plymouth you could in fact be either sat on the beach in the award winning Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, exploring Rame and the villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, Surfing at Whitsand Bay or walking along The South West Coastal Path.
The ferry can also be picked up from Mount Batten from 19th July until 30th September.
