Bucks Wood - Beverley Trowbridge

(Photo: WTPL/Beverley Trowbridge) Bucks Wood lies in the wooded coastal fringes and adjoining valleys around the tiny village of Bucks Mills to the east of Clovelly in North Devon. Lying on steep valley sides and cliffs access within the woodland is poor, but the North Devon Coastal path and other public footpaths run through all of the woods and linking to management tracks where created gives active visitors numerous 'circular' routes, through woods of wildlife and landscape importance and offering spectacular views of the surrounding areas and sea. This is a great place to combine with a walk along the south west coastal path; experience a great example of woodland and sea views all in one day!
