Type: Farm
Treat your family to the very best day out at Pennywell Farm. Home of the half hourly activity, Pennywell celebrates it’s 21st birthday this year and with up to 20 hands on activities, shows and displays every day, you won’t waste a single minute. There’s something new every half hour – listen for the bell!
There are hungry lambs and goat kids to bottle feed, ferrets to race, puppet shows, sing-a-longs, hedgehogs to meet, ponds to explore, fantastic entertainers every day during the Devon school holidays and a whole host of animals and activities. Pennywell Farm is also the home of the world famous Pennywell Miniature Pigs.
New for 2010 is the Red Rocket Ride, launching daily. Climb in and bounce around the farmyard. More fun and excitement than you would ever have thought possible with tractor power!
And on the subject of tractor power, the other new ride is The Big One! It’s the ultimate tractor and trailer ride with lots of animals to look out for along the route and a bumpy ride guaranteed!
There are the Run Rabbit Ride go carts for farmers over eight years and the Rainbow Railway for farmers of all ages.
The tractor village has been so successful that a permanent new feature for 2010 will be the Young Farmers Tractor Driving School.
The fantastic news is that all this fun is all included in one admission price!
Pennywell is just off the A38 near Buckfastleigh, just 20 miles from Plymouth and Exeter and only 12 miles from Torbay. Open daily 10am – 5pm, 7 days a week.
