Devon Events
Devon hosts some amazing events all year round including music, theatre, sporting, food events and major festivals as well as some downright bizarre events unique to the county.
Many attractions also host events such as bug hunting or sleepovers with the sharks and there are always active events going on for charity, be it a leisurely walk or an endurance race of running or cycling. For the more active amongst us, there are various sporting events throughout the year to enjoy as a participant or spectator.
The summer months see festivals galore as well as the local traditional agricultural shows throughout Devon and theatre productions in amazing open-air settings. There are also farmer's markets in most towns all year round and big-name bands playing in intimate and major venues alike. There really is something going on to suit all tastes, whatever the weather.
Check out worm charming, pot walloping and tar barrels, just a few of the weird and wonderfully unique events that Devon has to offer.
