Whether you are looking for inspiration for a special meal, delicious ideas for picnics or just the pleasure of admiring real food, be sure to wander round our regular Farmers' Markets around the county, where you will find a wide range of superb local produce and expertly prepared food and drink.

As well as regular Farmers Markets through the county, Devon is host to an exciting range of events celebrating food and drink. Leading the field is the annual Devon Celebration of Food in October - expect a festival with something for everyone, from sessions with celebrity chefs, local food safaris, tastings in farm shops farm shops, fun events especially for kids, to beer and banger feasts in pubs. Exeter's festival of South West Food and Drink, and Tavistock's Food Festival are also major, unmissable events.
