Food Tours, Breweries & Vineyards in Devon

There are many ways to get to know Devon’s food and drink producers. You can take guided tours around a variety of producers, but also some Devon food and drink producers offer their own tours. Book a tour with an experienced guide and relax and enjoy their expert knowledge – or draw up your own itinery and explore at your leisure. Taking a food tour, or visiting a vineyard, distillery or brewery, is a fantastic way to really appreciate Devon food and drink. As well as getting to appreciate the skill and dedication behind the product, you’ll see the beautiful location in which it’s produced – what better way to whet your appetite for the tasters that are sure to follow!

Cheese? Seafood? Fudge? Whatever your passion, you can see excellent Devon produce being made right in front of you – and then try some after (you must take some home too!).

Devon vineyard, distillery and brewery tours

Devon is home to a selection of vineyards, wineries, distilleries and breweries from the award-winning to the small independent family run businesses. Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or just appreciate a good quality glass of red, Devon’s vineyards are worth exploring - either by yourself or as part of a guided (and chauffeured!) wine tour. Did you know that Devon wine has won international awards? Devon has long been known for its excellent cider and beer, but fewer people know that it produces excellent whites and even roses and reds too. And whilst Devon, and Plymouth in particular, has been producing top-quality gin for many years, recently a number of excellent new companies have started producing craft gins here too.

With some of the region's vineyards and breweries offering specialised tours that allow visitors to wonder through the grape vines or observe the traditional method used to create a fine ale, plus tasting the end product, it’s easy to enjoy a whole day out.
