Exeter - Crikey Mother It's Vintage

A retro vintage event at the Thistle Hotel in Exeter.

This event will be bigger and better than the last! We are also holding a raffle to raise money for a really great charity, The Women's Land Army Tribute fund. This is a fantastic charity that is raising money to commission and build the first lasting national memorial, for all the land girls that helped during the great wars. I hope you will agree that these women paved the way for many of the rights and freedoms that we can enjoy in today's society.

* A vintage Fashion show, with 20 vintage and vintage insipired clothes sellers
* A pop up cinema - complete with retro popcorn cart!
* A pop up beauty parlour, complete with hair stylist, make up artist and vintage nail artist
* A photographer to caputure the vintage look (bookable to the public)
* A burlesque stocking removal workshop
* A make and take session, make your own frilly knickers, make your own vintage style corsage
* Lindy Hop dancing as well as a lindy hop/swing workshop
* A pop up tattoo parlour
* Super cake from Kiss and Bake up

* A vintage wedding feature with Linda Duriez of Pirouette and Days of Gave, Fenela of Fenela Sadler Designs,
and Emma of Elegantly waisted, of Exmouth.

Plus we have a further 40 stalls of Vintage traders, selling vintage homewares, kitchenalia Items, china, collectables, glass and decorative items. We also have some lovely local ladies offering the very best in handmade vintage inspired gifts, and unique pieces.

There will be so much going on! It's such a great day out for the family. Our previous two fairs have been really popular and have attracted a large crowd of over 1000, each time. Vintage is really popular at the moment, not only is it kinder to the environment, as its is recycling of old pieces, but the quality is there with the clothes and the 'built to last' pieces.
