For over 600 years Dartmouth Castle has been the guardian of Dartmouth and the River Dart.
From Tudor times to the Second World War it has played a part in and witnessed some
momentous times in the history of England. Join us as we step back in time to explore a
different era from the castle's history each week in August and meet some of the colourful
characters from the past. With hands on activities each Monday and fascinating living
history encampments to explore each Tuesday, this series of events can be enjoyed
by the whole family.
