A specialist visit into Kents Cavern, one of Europe’s top ancient human cave dwellings sites, followed by a behind the scenes look at the paleontological collections at Torquay Museum.
The tour of the caves will be led by Dr Chris Proctor a leading local paleontologist who has carried detailed research in the caves.
The visit will include a private viewing of the 41,000 year old Kents Cavern human jawbone which attracted international media exposure in November 2011 when that the bone was confirmed as being the oldest human fossil ever discovered in northwestern Europe.
