Beesands Marathon
Visitors are welcome to come and enjoy the marathon and cheer on the runners at this fantastic event on Saturday, 18th February. Come along to Beesands Beach from 9am, where hot drinks and refreshments will be available.
This is where the Coastal Trail Series was born and now in its 9th year, the South Devon stage has become a cult classic. The course is contained within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and is simultaneously picturesque and punishing. With its blend of jagged rocks interspersed with idyllic sandy coves, this coastline is jaw droppingly beautiful and hugely inspiring.
The event sells out every year, and you'll soon see why as you weave your way around the technical coastline, before heading inland to tackle a few of the infamous Devon hills!
