Northcote Manor is an independent cherished country house set in twenty acres of mature woodlands, lawns and gardens overlooking the Taw River Valley. Views of rolling countryside and open sky can be fully appreciated from the croquet lawn and tennis court.
Inside the 18th century manor much care has been taken to create an oasis of calm and serenity where guests can relax and recharge as their needs are met by attentive and welcoming staff. The décor of the hotel has been recently redesigned to create an atmosphere of luxury sophistication and country comfort chic so that guests can unwind and revitalize. Extravagance is positively encouraged at the hotel with offerings of ubiquitous fluffy bathrobes, L'occitane products and home made short bread in every room. Visitors can enjoy roaring log fires in the winter after a brisk stroll through the grounds and a warm sun terrace with a cool drink after a meander around the fruit orchards in the summer.
Dining in the Manor House restaurant is an experience to savour as our award winning menus incorporate only the finest in local produce. Light lunches are served in our slate roof conservatory, which opens out onto our walled garden sun terrace. For a more formal dining experience guests can take a three course dinner in our stunning restaurant with original artwork depicting the history of Northcote Manor from the days of the monastery to the era of King Henry VIII.
