Mallards is a Grade II Listed Victorian townhouse set in a conservation area. It is conveniently situated in the centre of Tavistock overlooking the park and within easy, level walking distance of a wealth of local shops, restaurants and amenities.
The house has been lovingly restored over 30 years by the current owners. All the comfortable, well appointed rooms are en-suite with tea-making facilities, digital TVs, toiletries and thermostatically controlled showers - some have baths. There is central heating throughout and ironing facilities are available. At the rear of the house is a large, well lit, clearly marked private car park. For your peace of mind, we have full Fire Precautions throughout and, for your comfort, we are an entirely non-smoking establishment.
The house is set back from the road with a large garden and patio for your enjoyment. Breakfast - full English or something lighter - is served in our spacious, airy Breakfast Room, overlooking the Garden and the Park. All rooms are allocated a seperate dining table.
Mallards has been awarded 4 stars by Quality in Tourism and is a member of the Dartmoor Partnership.
Combining all the elegance of a bygone age with the modern facilities expected by the discerning guest, it is, quite simply, a very pleasant place to stay.
