Nestled in the heart of Devon and within twenty minutes of the ancient cathedral city of Exeter, Higher Thornwood is both the ideal retreat to get away from it all and also perfectly placed to explore the beauty of the surrounding countryside, villages and coast.

Traditionally furnished but fully equipped to meet the modern visitor's needs, Higher Thornwood is perfect for families and groups of all ages and interests.

Whatever your plans for your holiday, you'll want to spend some time relaxing in the generous-sized living room with its comfortable sofas, chairs and window seating. The brick hearth comes complete with a generous supply of aromatic logs, just waiting for you to curl up and toast your toes in front of a blazing fire.

In the grounds you'll find breath-taking views over open countryside, with all the fragrance of a traditional cottage garden, set in 1 & 1/4 acres.

There's even a traditional summerhouse, ideal for entertaining late into the summer nights.
