Caob Rock is a substantial 2 bed roomed Victorian end terrace house, approached by a short path leading up from the parking space and some steps up into the garden.
We have two front doors, (a stormy night on the moor explains why), separated by a small hall, designed to leave your wet weather gear in. This leads into the airy dining room (the Ercol dining table seats 6) with its picture window and arm chair to watch the clouds, walkers, ponies etc, go by.
The central sitting room has an old fashioned, comfortable, 3 piece suite to compliment the age and style of the house, an electric stove, TV and DVD and a collection of Dartmoor paintings.
Leading from this room are the stairs, still in their original cupboard! and the modern functional kitchen with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge and washing machine.
Upstairs are 2 Bedrooms and a bathroom.
The master bedroom has a double Victorian style bed, put together the wrong way, which means one can lie in bed looking out of the window with its spectacular views, across the high moor and its Tors, down to Plymouth and the sea.
The second bedroom has a 5 ft. zip and link bed which can be separated to form 2 singles.
The large family bathroom features a corner bath (with shower) and the original airing cupboard.
