Bovey Castle is history, excitement, glamour and adventure.
Where else can you wear your Hunter Wellies at 8am, Golf Spikes at 3pm and Manolo Blahniks for dinner. But while we offer our guests luxury and indulgence, this is not a stuffy hotel where you can’t sit on the furniture or let your kids enjoy themselves.
Immerse yourself in the luxuriously appointed décor, and outstanding service, challenge yourself on our golf course, relax in the spa, experience the vast array of activities available and indulge your taste buds with the superb food and outstanding wine list.
Uncompromisingly smart yet totally unstuffy, Bovey Castle is a former stately home with an unrivalled choice of activities and indulgences for the whole family. The excellent facilities and activities include an 18-hole championship golf course, holistic spa, two restaurants, a supervised children’s club and playroom, tennis courts, a daily falconry display and so much more.
The cool country-house atmosphere is reflected in chic rooms and suites individually decorated in subdued colours. Oak-panelled drawing rooms are sublime spots for quiet moments or scrumptious cream teas. Total peace and quiet can be enjoyed in one of the garden lodges, perfect for families or long stays.
Spend your days enjoying everything from golf, archery and fly fishing to deer stalking, guided walks, cider and sloe gin making. While the children join the Bovey Rangers for pony trekking, egg collecting and even ferret racing.
Bovey Castle is a place where you can live out your dreams, then put your feet up.
