We are pleased to welcome you to Appledown House Country Bed and Breakfast, which is set in a lovely rural location in the heart of the Devon countryside, just about as far away from the stresses and strains of every day life as you want to be, yet centrally placed and within easy travelling distance of Dartmoor and most of Devon & Cornwall. We have two rooms, a double and a twin/superking room, both of which are en-suite with soft fluffy towels and tea/coffee making facilities. The two rooms form the detached ground floor annexe and have (boltable) interconnecting doors for family/friends whilst each room has its own separate 'front' door. The en-suite twin/superking has its own small conservatory with superb views south over the beautiful Devon countryside towards Dartmoor. Well behaved children are welcome. Our heated swimming pool (open during the summer months) and is set in its own terrace. All our food is sourced locally, with scrumptious sausages and bacon from our local butcher and eggs from our own free-range chickens all served with our own home-made bread. We have ample, dedicated, off road parking for all our guests, cycle storage and a drying area. A discount of 10% per room applies to stays of 3 or more nights and we look forward to welcoming you!
WEDDINGS: Stunning views, lovely rooms and a leisurely, relaxing breakfast awaits the happy couple and/or wedding guests staying at Appledown House Country Bed & Breakfast in Lamerton, near Tavistock and Dartmoor.
